Q2HB88 Full/half stepper driver, the drive voltage of which is from 24V to 80VDC (40V to 130VDC).it is designed for use with the 2 phase hybrid stepper motor of all kinds with 86mm to 110mm outside diameter, regulated phase current from 0.5A to 8A (0.4A to 6.4A). It is widely used in numerical devices such as curving machine, medium-sized numerical control machine, packing machine.

Current setting

1.    STOP/Im is the rotary switch that can set output current of holding motor status as 20%-80% of normal output current (decrease in CW, increase in CCW).
2.    RUN/Im is the rotary switch for adjustment of the motor current.

Caution

1.         Please don’t reverse the power supply, supply voltage shouldn’t exceed 80VDC (130VDC).

2.         Input control signal is 5V, current-limiting resistance should be connected when it is over 5V.

3.         O.H / L.V is low input voltage / overheat indicator. The indicator lights and the driver stops working when the driver temperature is over 70℃ or input voltage is below 24V (40V). It restarts working until the temperature falls to 50℃. The heat sink is needed when overheat occurs.

With the falling edge of the signal PU, the motor executes an angular step. The input resistance is 220Ω. Low voltage 0-0.5V, high voltage 4-5V, pulse width>2.5μS.

Positive of opto-isolated overheat / low voltage protection

The motor current is cut off automatically and signal FL is effective (low voltage) when the temperature of the driver is over 70℃. The driver starts to work and the FL is cleared when the temperature falls to 50℃.

FAL

Negative of opto-isolated overheat / low voltage protection

Connect + to current limiting resistance of output signal and connect FAL to ground. The maximum drive current is 50mA, the highest drive voltage is 50V.
